Foundry (alchemy): a place where metals are melted, transformed and recast into new forms.

In the context of Home Alchemy, a foundry holds a dual role- both a physical workspace and a powerful symbol of the transformative process. It is where raw material becomes refined form- and where your home becomes a vessel for personal evolution.

I chose a symbolic framework because I see Home itself as a metaphor for YOU. Throughout time, myth, story and art, the home has long been a symbol for our own internal landscape, and my desire for you through Alchemy of Home is to find greater meaning in your space, reflecting on yourself, your values and what you find truly beautiful.

I wanted to create a process that allows you to craft a beautiful space, yes, but also do it in a way that’s grounded, realistic and completely unique to you.

Our Homes are Our Foundry

Creating a home that is your sacred space space isn’t just a want anymore- it’s a need. Now more than ever, more and more folks are drawn to spending less on hollow impulse purchases and instead appreciating what we already have or what they can create.

I don’t think I’m wrong to say we are craving beauty, intention, and a sense of meaning in a world that’s divided, artificial and frankly falling apart! The beauty of Home Alchemy is that we get to define exactly what beauty, intention and meaning looks like.

This process is a reclamation of personal power through creativity.

Come Home to Yourself

Home is where we begin and end each day — it’s the place we let our guard down, recharge our emotional batteries, and find grounding before we meet the outside world again. It’s where we return to ourselves, connect with our loved ones and hopefully cultivate joy. A space that supports us both physically and emotionally isn’t a luxury. It’s vital.

When it comes to creating a home that reflects your truest expression, I know two things for certain:
1. Anyone can do it.
2. It can be affordable and fun.

I know this because I’ve done it. I’ve helped others do it. And I’ve spent months refining a design process that removes overwhelm, decision fatigue, and perfectionism- while offering clear visual guidance and practical support.

To do this, I drew on my own experience and knowledge as well as years of practice in some outside-the-box methods…

Where the Spirit Meets the Bone

I absolutely love the Interior Design field. It’s living art. But I am not an interior designer. I am an interior alchemist because I look beyond surface-level aesthetics.

Textiles aren’t just fabrics, they’re the warmth and protection our childhood blankies and teddies gave us. Lighting isn’t just the flip of a switch, it’s the glowing fire in the hearth that warms our entire home. Clearing space isn’t a moral purity test, it’s an opportunity to release weight of the past and to open a vacuum for what’s ready to come in.

There is beauty in meaning. There is power in creation. I teach you how connect with your own personal beauty and expression so every style and aesthetic choice you make is actually meaningful to you.

What Works for Me

The driving spirit of The Foundry Formula™ Framework is a connection to our very spirit — it’s soul work. I hesitate to use the word “spirituality,” because it is so loaded, and it means something different to everyone. I prefer the word “creativity.” It’s simple and in this context, carries the same meaning.

I’m a decade plus practitioner of embodiment practices like somatic experiencing, parts work, inner child work and shadow work. I also love to explore mystical and esoteric systems like numerology and astrology. And I love to connect these all together by studying Jungian psychology, mythology, story, symbol and archetype.

If all that sounds too woo for you

Don’t worry! I don’t teach any type of spiritual “coaching” or any kind of therapy within The Foundry Formula™, but I do draw on my experience within these frameworks to help make meaningful connections between the physical aspects of designing a space and the metaphysical ones — or the unseen motivations behind what makes us tick.

I ask questions like, “When you walk into your transformed space, what soundtrack do you hear?” And, “What emotions do you feel now in your space compared to what emotions you want to feel?”

Questions like this combined with actionable styling steps bridge the gap between our hidden emotional states and our physical reality.

Once we understand the “mood” we’re going for, we can apply practical, step-by-step strategy to bring it your vision to life.
